Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using QR Recorder (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.

3. Account Registration

  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and all activities under your account.

4. Service Usage

  • License: We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service according to these Terms.
  • Prohibited Conduct: You may not use the Service to create malicious or infringing QR codes, harvest personal data without consent, or violate any law or rights of third parties.
  • Google Analytics 4 Integration: You may connect your GA4 property to our platform to import aggregated metrics. You retain all rights to your analytics data; we cannot view or store your detailed GA4 data.

5. Payment & Subscriptions

  • Plans: Some features require a paid subscription, as described on our Pricing page.
  • Billing: You authorize us to charge your payment method for subscription fees and applicable taxes.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel at any time via your account settings. Cancellations are effective at the end of the current billing period—no refunds for partial periods unless required by law.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Ownership: We and our licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service and its content.
  • Feedback: If you submit suggestions or feedback, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use and incorporate that feedback.

7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms or if we believe continued access poses a risk. You may terminate by deleting your account in settings or by contacting support. Upon termination, your license ends but accrued fees remain due.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • As-Is: The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.
  • Limitation: To the maximum extent permitted by law, QR Recorder’s liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months prior.

9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold QR Recorder, its affiliates, and employees harmless from any claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in state or federal courts in Wilmington, DE.

11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with the updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes indicates your acceptance.
